Canada PR process

The process is simple and easy for Canada PR Visa. Let me explain that to you.
The first step is selecting the right program for Canada PR application. The top 2 choices are Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). All Canadian provinces have their own PNPs, you can select one as per your suitability.

However, Express Entry is what you must go for because it is the fastest pathway to becoming a permanent resident of Canada. With Express Entry, you can often become a permanent Canadian resident in as little as 3-4 months.

Then, you must check your eligibility for one of the programs under Express Entry. The programs are:
  • Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Among these, FSWP will be most suitable for you as a skilled worker. You must have minimum one year of skilled work experience to seek Canada PR. Also, you should be able to identify your occupation with skill type 0, A or B in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) list.
Then, you need to create your Express Entry profile. In the profile, you will need to give information about your age, education, language proficiency, work experience, etc.

For creating an Express Entry profile, you will first need to take a language test e.g. IELTS. You must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and listening either English or French to become a permanent resident of Canada. Also, an educational credential assessment (ECA) report from a competent assessment body such as WES will be required for your education completed outside Canada.

Once, you’re done with creating an Express Entry profile, you will get access to the Express Entry pool, where you will be ranked among other eligible candidates basis your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). CRS score is given to candidates after considering a number of eligibility factors such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience, etc. The higher your CRS score, the brighter your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR.

Use our updated CRS calculator to calculate your CRS score instantly and free of cost.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) holds regular Express Entry draws. If you rank among the top candidates at the time of a draw, you will receive an ITA. You will then have 90 days to submit the necessary documents for your Canada PR Visa application.
Once, IRCC is fully satisfied, they will issue you Canada PR Visa.

This must have given you a clear understanding of how Canada PR process works. If you need any more information or want to speak to someone, call Nationwide Visas for free consultation. We will be glad to help you with your dream Canada.
